Production Principle
The random texture processing alters the microscopic texture and glossiness of the surface, while the coloring treatment gives the surface color. The combination of these two processes results in random textured colored stainless steel that not only possesses a unique visual layering effect and metallic texture, but also features excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance and anti-fingerprint properties.

From a distance, the swirl patterns are seen as dynamic circles with a sense of movement; upon closer inspection, the irregular textures are revealed. This dual visual aesthetic: the distant view presents a series of swirling patterns with a dynamic feel, resembling ripples on water; while the close-up view showcases intricate and diverse irregular textures. This unique aesthetic of "distinct patterns from a distance and disorder upon closer inspection" gives the board different visual experiences at various distances and angles, infusing the space with liveliness and mystery. Compared to uniform straight-grained or frosted boards, the artistic expression of the swirl board is significantly superior.
Natural scratch resistance camouflage: The unidirectional filament structure of the swirl pattern naturally "dispersed" the visibility of scratches - a slight scratch blends into the curved and interlaced textures and is difficult to be identified. Unlike a mirror panel where a single scratch is exposed clearly, or straight-grained where the transverse scratch is perpendicular to the texture and highlights prominently, the swirl board is particularly suitable for high-frequency usage scenarios such as elevators, door handles, and public corridors.
Super strong anti-fingerprint: The surface of the swirl pattern has a matte texture, and the diffuse reflection effect significantly reduces the gloss of fingerprints and oil stains. Coupled with the irregular texture of the filaments, it further "dispersed" the complete outline of fingerprints, making them less likely to be visible. Compared to mirror panels and frosted boards, it has superior anti-fingerprint performance, maintaining a clean and refreshing appearance.
Super wear-resistant and scratch-resistant hard coating layer: The PVD coating has a hardness of 2000-3000HV, far exceeding ordinary spray coatings (< 500HV) and stainless steel substrates (~200HV). The coating forms a molecular-level metallurgical bond with the substrate, without peeling or blistering. After 5000 times of rubber friction tests, it does not fade, with a lifespan measured in decades.
Long-lasting and non-fading: The PVD coating is dense and has no pores, effectively blocking moisture, oxygen, and chemical pollutants. In indoor environments, it can ensure stable color and non-fading for over 20 years. The coating is integrated with the swirl texture, and there is no possibility of coating peeling or blistering.
Super corrosion-resistant and weather-resistant: The 304/316L material combined with the PVD dense coating layer can withstand 500-800 hours of neutral salt spray tests. It is suitable for high-corrosion environments such as coastal areas, high humidity, and chemical zones, and can also be used for outdoor curtain walls and signs.
