Production Principle
The core manufacturing process of the brushed colored stainless steel consists of two main steps:
The first step: Mechanical brushing (graining treatment)
Using a sand belt or brush roller to grind the steel plate surface in a fixed direction, forming a single-direction continuous filamentous texture. After the brushing treatment, a regular texture is formed on the surface, which not only facilitates the subsequent coating adhesion but also gives the sheet the ability of "natural camouflage" - minor scratches during daily use are easily integrated into the texture and are hardly noticeable to the naked eye.
The second step: PVD vacuum coating coloring
In a vacuum chamber, the high-purity target material (such as titanium, chromium, zirconium, etc.) is heated to vaporize into an ion state, and is uniformly deposited on the surface of the brushed stainless steel under the action of an electric field, and is closely combined with the crystal structure of the stainless steel, forming a nano-scale colored film layer with a thickness of only 0.3-0.5 μm. By introducing reaction gases such as nitrogen, carbon, and oxygen, compound films such as titanium nitride (TiN) and titanium carbide (TiC) are generated, and the composition and thickness of the film layer can be controlled to obtain rich metal colors such as titanium gold, champagne gold, rose gold, black titanium, and gemstone blue.
The third step: Post-processing coating of protective layer
After coloring, a nano anti-fingerprint oil is sprayed, and it is solidified at high temperature to form a transparent protective layer, effectively isolating fingerprints, water stains, and oil stains, and further enhancing the surface hardness and corrosion resistance.
Core Advantages
Natural texture and high-grade texture: The brushed texture is slender and clear, the PVD coating is semi-transparent and transparent, it retains and enlarges the silk-like texture, the color is soft and has layers, and it is the original metal texture that cannot be replaced by spraying or electroplating;
Natural scratch-resistant "disguise" ability: The regular brushed texture makes the slight scratches caused during daily use naturally blend into the texture, and from a distance, they are almost invisible. It is especially suitable for elevator, door handles, cabinets and other high-frequency contact scenarios;
Super hard and wear-resistant without peeling: The PVD coating has extremely high hardness (≥2000HV, 3-5 times that of ordinary steel), it is scratch-resistant, anti-wear, and the molecular-level bonding does not peel off, flake off or crack. It can undergo post-processing such as bending and slotting without cracking at the edge;
Rich colors and long-lasting: You can choose from dozens of metal colors such as titanium gold, champagne gold, rose gold, black titanium, bronze, and gemstone blue. The color is stable and resistant to ultraviolet rays, with color difference control ΔE ≤ 0.5;
Super strong anti-corrosion and salt spray resistance: The PVD coating and the stainless steel substrate form a dual anti-corrosion barrier, it is resistant to salt spray, acid and alkali, and high temperature (can withstand 200℃), suitable for complex environments such as coastal areas, humid areas, and kitchen fumes;
Anti-fingerprint and easy maintenance: After being treated with no-fingerprint coating, the surface is resistant to oil stains and fingerprint adhesion. Daily cleaning only requires a soft cloth to wipe clean, no special maintenance is needed.

Colors: Titanium, 24K gold, champagne gold, rose gold, black titanium (black gold), bronze, bronze, green bronze, red bronze, coffee gold, zirconium gold, purple gold, purple red, wine red, gun gray, gemstone blue, emerald green, brown, titanium white, multi-color (glossy color) and dozens more; Customization based on samples is supported.
Materials: 201, 304, 316L, 430, etc. Customization is supported.
Sizes: Standard sizes include 1000×2000mm, 1219×2438mm, 1219×3048mm, 1219×4000mm, 1500×3000mm; Customization of non-standard sizes is supported (the widest can be approximately 1500mm, the longest can be approximately 6000mm).
Thickness: 0.3mm to 4.0mm, customization is supported.
Texturing types: Straight-line texturing (standard hairline), random-line texturing (vibration pattern), spiral texturing, wave texturing, long thread, short thread; Sandpaper mesh size can be selected from 80# / 120# / 160# / 240# / 320# / 400# / 600#, with higher mesh size resulting in finer texture.
Composite process stacking: Textured colored plates can be combined with etched patterns, embossed patterns, local mirror polishing and other processes to achieve a composite visual effect of textured pattern + pattern design.
